From his first role as a sheriff in
Gore Vidal's Billy the Kid,
Billy Joe Patton has spent most of his twenty-year
career in the Old West. There is not a cowboy, marshal or deputy
he can't bring to life. He appeared in the classic Western movie
Tombstone, played Matt Dillion's ranch hand in the TV movie
Gunsmoke: One Mans Justice , and had featured roles in
seven episodes of the TV Series The Young Riders (including
a performance as James Hickcok's father). Billy has had
the privilege of working with veteran director Virgil Vogel on
three occasions and sharing the screen with his West of the
Story co-star, Don Collier, numerous times. Like any
good cowboy, Billy has often performed his own stunts.
